Le Phenix Hotel Lyon

The hotel was located in a charming historical building, which added a romantic touch to our stay. The service at the hotel was excellent. The staff, especially Julian, went out of their way to assist us and even recommended a fantastic bouchon restaurant. The location of the hotel was superb, just minutes away from the old town. We loved being able to explore the city and enjoy the beautiful river views.

The room we were allocated was a bit small, a minor inconvenience for us. The breakfast at the hotel was not up to our expectations.

Rooms were clean and quiet with double windows. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Great dining recommendation. Breakfast room had good offerings. Convenient location for sightseeing.

The location was perfect, as it was close to all the major tourist attractions and right in front of the little port. I could easily explore the city and even watch Champions League football in Lyon without any hassle. The hotel facilities were great, with a super clean and comfortable room that had a huge, cozy bed and a luxurious bathtub with jets. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing excellent recommendations and even scheduling a taxi for me. the hotel's eco-friendly efforts, such as refilling glass bottles of water, were very commendable.

We were kinda surprised by the central location of Le Phenix hotel. It was a short walk to the heart of the city, with its historic sites and charming riverside. The garage parking was a convenient amenity, made our stay hassle-free. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to assist us. We were especially grateful for their help in changing our room when we discovered it wasn't suitable due to the low sloping ceiling in the bed area. The breakfast provided was delicious and gave us a good start to the day. The WiFi was reliable, important for my work meeting.
